Network monitoring

Network monitoring is a constantly current topic that is enjoying increasing popularity. Initially, large-scale comprehensive networks that were equipped with a pipeline network monitoring system showed that this resulted in reduced purchasing costs, technical innovation and increased ease of use. This also makes the installation of a network monitoring system for small to medium scale pipeline networks an interesting point. Through continuous, reliable monitoring of a network, this ensures that defective pipes with leaks or intake of liquid can be quickly detected and contained. Subsequently, any additional damage to the pipeline network or construction materials as a result of constant leakage can be prevented.

In sensor technology, a tried and tested system has established itselve on the market: IPS-Cu which uses bare copper wires.

With equipment technology, it is important to distinguish between analogue and digital systems, as with stationary and mobile equipment. Analogue equipment provides the user with information via the status of the monitored line (i.e. there are no existing problems, or there is dampness). The exact localisation of a problem (ranging) has to be then carried out by a measurement technician, who is brought in for this, and using his own equipment. In contrast, digital equipment provides the user with not only status updates, but can also carry out automatic detection of the exact location of a problem. All isoplus measurement equipment is installed in such a way that it can be used with our wiring systems, and additionally with similar third-party systems. The flexibility of isoplus equipment enables a broad range of application and accordingly problem-solving solutions, tailored to meet the specific requirements of each individual customer.
